ABOUT

Indie Beer Feast

Our first one-day beer fest was held on Saturday March 10th 2018 at the iconic Abbeydale Picture House, Sheffield. With a host of exceptional brewery bars and street food and an emphasis on great quality, independent, craft beer from the UK and around the globe; kicking off Sheffield Beer Week in style. We had over 700 beer lovers attend the festival, selling out both sessions.

The 2019 festival grew to two days - Friday 8th and Saturday 9th March 2019. With two sessions per day, welcoming over 1.3k beer lovers. It's the first year that the 'Beer of the Festival' competition was launched with a selection of breweries brewing up an exclusive beer, with first pours at Indie Beer Feast, under the theme of utilising a seasonal ingredient.

Year three - 2020 (Friday 6th and Saturday 7th March) was another wonderful year with over 1.5k in attendance. Thank you to everyone who poured and attended, we made some special beery memories.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 global pandemic, we celebrated on what would have been our 2021 festival weekend - Sat 6th March - with a virtual Instagram Live Tasting. We tried to go-ahead for a summer edition beer festival - Friday 6th and Saturday 7th August 2021, however it was with a heavy heart that we had to reschedule this due to extended lockdown dates.

On Fri 4th and Sat 5th March 2022, after a 2 year hiatus, we successfully hosted Indie Beer Feast at the Trafalgar Warehouse in Sheffield city centre. Thanks to all those those who poured and attended, we made it finally happen. We returned to Trafalgar Warehouse in 2023, with an additional pop-up tasting room space. 2024 is now being planned at the same venue; it'll be the 1st and 2nd of March weekend,

Cheers,
Jules Gray
